I recently read a book called, "The Hole in Our Gospel" by Richard Stearns. While reading, I learned of an AWESOME ministry that helps to raise money for entrepreneurs in poorer places around the world through financing called Micro Loans. Through these loans, we are doing more than just giving a hand-out to someone, but rather you are giving a hand-up to a person and a community in need.

While there are a number of reputable organizations to donate to, I have chosen to go through World Vision for my donations since I have been working with them for many years through a child I sponsor and other events I have worked and trust the integrity of the organization.
