"The Chase"

"A Force to be Reckoned With"

I My version of the Battle of Hoth.  Received inspiration of the tauntaun mounted Snowtrooper from my friend (and 501st member) Mr. Fett.  The original was drawin on 11"x17" bristol board with marker and ink and digitally painted in Photoshop

"Fatal Attraction"

I was inspired to create a depiction of Asajj Ventress in battle with her nemesis, Obi-Wan Kenobi.  The time frame of this battle is sometime between Episodes II and III.  With that in mind, I based my characters on their designs in The Clone Wars animated series.

The title of the piece, "Fatal Attraction", came to me because I always picture Asajj as having some dark, twisted attraction to Obi-Wan.

"Deadly Beautiful"

At a convention I was at, I was commissioned to draw a sketch of Padme in the colisseum.  They told me to come up with whatever I wanted, but make her sexy.  In the process of drawing the sketch, I came up with a tagline of, "Star Wars Chicks...battling evil never looked so good."

So, from that sketch and my tagline, I was inspired to draw up this picture of Padme in the arena.

"Dangerous Prey"

This image was created under the premise of Boba Fett being sent after Obi Wan Kenobi.  In my created storyline, this takes place sometime between Episodes 3 and 4, after Vader hears rumors of the existance of his former master.  To find Kenobi, Vader hires Boba Fett to hunt him down.  The two eventually meet in battle and this image depicts that conflict.

I titled the piece "Dangerous Prey", but the question is, which one is the prey?

Jango Fett

Original artwork created on 11"x14" bristol board with marker and ink, then digitally painted in Adobe Photoshop.

This piece made an appearance in the Star Wars Insider Magazine, Issue#116, Page 91 (APR 2010)

This was my third piece to be published in this AWESOME fan magazine.

"Legacy" - The Fett Family Portrait

I wanted to do a piece that captured Jango's personal side. The way I see it, he would have been a proud daddy and this is the family portrait he had taken of him and his new son, Boba.

Since we've never seen Jango depicted without a shirt, I wanted to pay homage to Temuera Morrison's heritage. So I came up with a Maori inspired tattoo that incorporated the Mandalorian Skull logo in it. Also, if you look closely, you'll see I also incorporated into the tattoo the logo on Boba's armor that appears on his chest plate.

Darth Maul - as portrayed by Ray Park

This piece was created with the desire to create an original pose of this primal Sith Apprentice, while maintaining the portrayal of Ray Park as the one in the makeup.

To do this, I found a photo of Ray Park in another movie without a shirt on.  Using this photo, I was able to create an accurate picture of Darth Maul that was true to Ray's musculature and body type.  With some minor alterations and makeup additions, I was able to draw Ray with all of the needed tattoos to create this image.

Darth Maul - My stylized comicbook version

This piece made it into the Star Wars Insider Magazine #113 (Dec 2009), and was my second piece to be published in this AWESOME fan magazine.

"Bloodlust"

In this artwork, I wanted to depict Darth Vader unleashing some rage against anyone who stood in his path as he tried to bury the guilt he held inside over the death of his beloved Padme and portrays a period shortly after Episode III.

Ahsoka Tano

Swoop Leia

Marker and color pencil on 11"x17" board

The premise of this artwork is that during Leia's short gig as Jabba's slave, Jabba had her do some promotional pieces for some Swoop Bike dealerships he owned. After all, he is a business man...or Hutt.

I know...it's not in the movie, but it should have been. :)
